Students in grades 9 to 12 are invited to join the Christ Church Youth Group. Besides getting together at 9 a.m. on Sundays for an interactive church school, we gather once a month for fellowship and once a month to serve others.

The most up to date and complete information about CCYG events is on our Facebook page. We are participating in a "30-hour Famine" with youth from other Episcopal churches on March 26-27 in Wilmington.

We also are planning a June 2010 mission trip to Baja California in Mexico. We've been raising money for that trip.

CCYG calendar

  • Saturday, March 13 - St. Patrick's Day Dance, 7 to 11 p.m., Parish Hall basement. Grades 6-12. Bring your friends and $5 each.
  • Sunday, March 14 - Teen Depression and Suicide Prevention Seminar (Grades 6-12 with parents, grandparents and community) following the 10 a.m. service.
  • Friday, March 26 - "30-Hour Famine" begins at noon and lasts through 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27; overnight at Christ Church in Greenville (rescheduled)
