The Episcopal Church teaches that Christian Marriage is a three-way relationship, in which the husband and wife acknoweldge and commit themselves to God as well as to each other. They come to the Church seeking God's help in fulfilling the vows they make. In their love for each other, a couple gives to the world an example of the faithful, self-giving love of God in Jesus Christ. Therefore, their union is considered a Sacrament - a holy sign through which God works.
At Christ Church, we offer a supportive premarital preparation program which includes a series of discussions with our rector, attendance at worship, and a short-term educational program designed for engaged couples. We cordially invite you to attend one of our services (Sundays 8 and 10 a.m.; Wednesdays 12:10 p.m.).
