Father Chuck Weiss began his ministry with Christ Church in late January 2015. He came from St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church in Canonsburg, Pa. Father Chuck is familiar with Delaware and has many friends here after serving as an associate Christ Church Christiana Hundred from 1997-2002.  He was ordained in our Diocese in 1997.

Father Chuck also served as chaplain of St. Edmund’s Academy (similar to St. Anne’s) in Pittsburgh and as youth director at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh. And he was program director at Sheldon Calvary Camp in Conneaut, Onio, a place of special meaning to him where he developed enduring friendships and met his wife, Martha.  They have two children in their 20s, Cara and Max.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in English, he received a Master’s in Human Development from Drexel University.  His Master’s of Divinity is from Virginia Theological Seminary.
